For our December , we’d like you to meet Leonard and Stella!

They are a sweet and friendly couple who get along well with everyone. They met on a trip to Japan—Stella was from Baton Rouge and Leonard was from Omaha. They may have met by chance on that trip, but it was meant to be. Forty-eight years later, with two children and three grandchildren, they are as in love as when they first met.

One thing they love about living at The Blake is the people.

If they could give one piece of advice, it would be to “Always be kind and smile—it doesn’t cost anything to smile. You never know what someone is dealing with. Also, try to be patient with each other.”

Fun fact: Stella was a teacher for 38 years, and Leonard worked in accounting. Traveling has always been a big part of their lives, and they also love to try new foods.

Leonard and Stella have brought so much life to The Blake, and we are so lucky to have them!
