Membership Updates for 2024

Dear Members,
As the new year approaches, we would like to announce some significant changes in the practice that will occur in 2024. Although Shirley will not be retiring, the current practice demands are taking a toll on her personal health and well-being, so she has decided to transition to a virtual practice model. We realize the change will be beneficial for members who live far away or prefer virtual services due to their busy schedules, travel, or convenience.
For those members who prefer a physical presence, we would like to recommend:

The Ridgway office will remain open for the month of December. If you have a scheduled clinic visit with Shirley or Caitlin, we look forward to seeing you. Additionally, Caitlin still has some availability in December if you would like to schedule a visit.
Current members will not have their rates increased if they continue to receive services in 2024. The annual membership rate of $89/month will remain the same as a show of appreciation. In January, the website will introduce new payment packages to cater to individual needs.
How Does it Work?
• Colorado and New Mexico Members are welcome to schedule virtual consultations with Shirley beginning January 2, 2024 through their Patient Portal or Spruce App as usual. Member and a la carte Services being offered in 2024:
Functional Medicine Scheduled Phone and Video Consultations. Some services include:
Microbiome Management
IBS
SIBO
Gastrointestinal Reflux Disease, etc…
Autoimmune Management (with Rheumatology as appropriate).
Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hormone and Thyroid Replacement
With annual membership.
Detoxification
Mold
Heavy Metals
Environmental Toxins
GI Bacterial Overgrowth/Pathogens/Yeast
Prescription Management
With annual membership.
Medical Weight Loss Management
A la carte or with membership.
Hormone Pellet Placement
A la carte or with membership.
Individuals will continue to receive BHRT pelleting services at the Montrose location (Radiant Revival 1544 Oxbow Drive #140).
Lab Orders with Interpretation and Recommendations
Orders will be sent to member lab of choice as usual with discounted rate or insurance billing per member request.
Specialty labs will be drawn by Sheila or Judy at the Montrose Oxbow location.
Imaging, Specialist, Physical Therapy referrals
Administrative Changes:
Caitlin Lawshe will soon become a certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and will be accepting a new position in January 2024. Ridgway Center for Whole Health expresses gratitude for her professionalism and commitment to their members' health and wishes her well.
Samantha Langner and Shannon Brooks will also be leaving Ridgway Center for Whole Health in 2024. RCWH appreciates their efforts and dedication and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
Services that will not continue in 2024:
Primary and Acute Care Services.
IV Hydration.
Ridgway Phlebotomy Services.
After-hours and weekend call.
Medical ma*****na and FMCSA exams.
Thank you for your continued support and for being a member of Ridgway Center for Whole Health. We have enjoyed working with you and hope that you have benefited from receiving our services. If you are uncertain about your plan for health care in 2024, you are welcome to continue receiving services. As always, give us your 30-day notice when you are ready. Are you closing the practice?
No. We still provide similar services, but we are no longer available for in-person visits or acute after-hours services.
What if I decide virtual visits are not going to work for me?
Let us know you are giving your 30-day notice. We will provide services and fill your prescriptions during that time. You will have access to your patient portal during that time for saving PDF test copies, etc.
Can I have my records sent to me?
Your records are available on your patient portal for 30 days once you give notice. We will also send your records to your newly established health care provider. They will request records once you have established care.
Are you still available for medical consultations via spruce/portal?
Yes. The Spruce app and patient portal scheduling will not change.
Will there still be after-hours/weekend care available?
No, after-hours and weekend availability will not continue in 2024.
Will we still be able to get personalized tests performed at the Montrose Office? NutrEval, Metals test, IgG food test ect?
Yes. Specialized labs will be processed by Sheila or Judy at Radiant Revival Aesthetics and Weight Loss located at: 1544 Oxbow Drive #140 B, Montrose, CO 81401. Appointments will continue to be scheduled through us.
What if I need an annual exam (Physical/ pap)?
We recommend you establish care with a Primary Care Provider for your physical exams.
Is Primary Care (acute care) still an option, or are you only keeping patients that utilize HRT/ Functional medicine?
We will request that all members are established with a Primary Care Provider for annual physicals, acute care services and chronic pain management services.
How will I get my Supplements? Are they only available on Fullscript?
Your supplement requests will be added to your Fullscript account and mailed directly to you.
Are IV Hydration services (B12 injections) no longer available?
IV Hydration services will not be available in 2024
