Support in birth isn't a luxury - it's powerful 🤎

Research shows that when a doula is present during labor, mothers are more likely to:
• Avoid a cesarean
• Have a spontaneous vaginal birth
• Labor for a shorter amount of time
• Need fewer medical interventions
• Feel more satisfied with their birth experience

Every mother deserves to feel supported, informed, and cared for during one of the most important moments of her life.

📍Serving Idaho Falls & surrounding areas.

Save this post for later & send it to an expecting mama who should see this.

✨Big announcement…

I’m so excited to share that I’m officially a Certified Birth Doula and am now accepting clients in Idaho Falls and surrounding areas.

Birth was a truly life-changing experience for me. After a traumatic first birth, I later experienced a healing VBAC at home surrounded by incredible support. That experience showed me how powerful it is for a woman to feel safe, informed, and deeply supported during birth - and it inspired me to become a doula.

Now I have the honor of supporting other women through one of the most transformative moments of their lives.

As a doula, I have experience in:

• Natural & unmedicated birth
• VBAC
• Home birth
• Hospital birth
• Induction
• C-section
• Breastfeeding & postpartum support

Alongside my doula services, I also create handmade maternal wellness products designed to support women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

If you’re expecting and looking for compassionate, personalized birth support, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

✨A fresh look for something very close to my heart✨

Over the past few months I’ve been quietly reimagining these products — giving them new names, new labels, and a look that better reflects the heart behind them.

While the packaging has changed, the formulas remain the same gentle blends created to support mothers through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. These small comforts were always designed with care, intention, and the belief that mothers deserve to be deeply supported during this season of life.

Seeing everything come together like this feels really special, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

And this is only the beginning… 🤍

Something very meaningful to me will officially be announced on March 8th! Stay tuned.

✨Birth autonomy = having the power to make choices about your body and your labor.✨

Many women experience care that undermines autonomy:
• 1 in 5 felt pressured into induction or cesarean (Jou et al., 2015)
• 42-60% had procedures without consent (Birth Trauma Association, 2024; Population Study, 2024)
• 75% of episiotomies were not a real choice (Sakala et al., 2022)

🤎You have the right to: accept or refuse procedures, ask questions, choose your support team, and advocate for your comfort and dignity.

Your labor. Your choices. Your voice. Always.

Each of my comfort packs is handmade by me, slowly and intentionally. I choose 100% cotton fabrics, fill them with flaxseed, rice, and calming lavender herbs, and sew every one with love and care.

They can be warmed for soothing heat therapy or chilled for cooling relief - perfect for postpartum recovery, sore shoulders, period cramps, headaches, or simply winding down at the end of a long day.

Simple ingredients. Thoughtful design. Made to help you feel held.

As we've seen, some practices and facilities lately have a bit of audacity đź‘€

But what parents need to know is you have rights. Your nurses, midwives, and OBs are there to monitor vitals signs, labor progress, and keep you and baby safe. However, sometimes recommendations are simply provider preference or standard policies and not necessarily a specific need or benefit to your care. Asking questions helps determine if something is medically necessary to your care or just a provider preference.

There's nothing inherently wrong with all standard practices. However, you have the right to informed consent or informed refusal.

For example: if it's standard practice for a provider to break your water at X point in labor to "help things progress" that is simply their way of practicing and not something every individual is required to accept.

As with all interventions, there are benefits and risks and you get to decide if you do or do not want it.

What questions do you find essential to ask during labor?

Birth isn’t just physical.

It’s hormonal.
It’s emotional.
And it’s deeply influenced by how safe a mother feels.

When a woman feels calm, seen, and supported - her body responds differently.

Research consistently shows that continuous labor support is associated with:
• Shorter labors
• Lower likelihood of cesarean birth
• Reduced need for pain medication
• Fewer interventions
• Greater satisfaction with the birth experience

Support isn’t just “nice to have.”
It changes outcomes.

I know this personally.

My first birth felt clinical and overwhelming.
My second felt steady, supported, and completely different.

The environment matters.
The people in the room matter.
How a woman feels in her body matters.

Did you feel truly supported in your birth experience? I’d love to hear your story 🤍

After becoming a mom, my skin changed.
Dry. Dull. Sensitive. Tired - just like me.

I couldn’t find a facial oil that felt clean, lightweight, and truly nourishing… so I started formulating my own.

This bottle right here? ✨
Hand poured.
Small batch.
Labeled, and shrink sealed by me.

Radiance was created for women who want simple, botanical skincare that actually feels luxurious — especially in seasons like postpartum, healing, or just needing to pour back into yourself.

And every single order still gets finished at my kitchen counter while little feet run around me.

If you’ve been trying to simplify your skincare or support small businesses this year, this is your sign. 🤍

What has your skin needed more of lately? Hydration? Glow? Simplicity?

This space transformed from products to people.

Motherhood rewrites your story, and mine is one of growth.

Reflecting on my own journey, I felt a deep call for connection.

Not a rebrand, but a rediscovery of purpose.

Rooted in motherhood... expanding into authenticity.

Stay tuned 3/8/26 🤍
