So one of my friends told me to share the grief I’m going through….
So here it is here. I’m not asking for any sympathy. I’m just sharing my journey.
Tomorrow is my brother’s birthday. He would’ve been 43.
Drug addiction is only one part or piece of an illness. My brother and I lived through some very traumatic experiences growing up.
As I am grateful, I was able to rise above….. I am saddened that he was unable to breakthrough.
We each live our own life, and we choose our own path that we walk down.
I do know death is not the end. Thanks be to God.
