I got the "call" one year ago Oct 16 2023. Today I celebrate my 1 year kidneyversary. I'm eternally grateful to my donor and her family who made the selfless decision to be an organ donor. I
have been and forever will be a organ donor advocate. Thank you to all my providers and especially my strong and beautiful wife Savita Mindy Seecharran who has held my hand through all my health trials. I love you. Please do me a favor and donate to OneBlood on my behalf or share the gospel of organ donation to anyone that will listen.

The road is dark, covered by mists and fog.
The very steps we tread, shaky and loose
I've seen the tracks, bent and broken.

Knowing the path we must endure.
Is not for the weak or easily give-ins.

I get it friends,
It's dark and sad.
But that's the point.

Nothing in this world is unicorns and rainbows.
Even though they are real.

Just because you don't see certain things doesn't make them less real.

And just as we step closer to the rickety rails,
Knowing the next step could be our last.
We do not give in or quit.

My friends terrible things happened to us,
Things that brought us down and weighs heavily on our hearts.
Still, great things have happened to us.
Just seeing us still here,
Testifies to the fact that we are strong.

I know things are hard.
They challenge our very lives.
But when we don't quit or give up,
Others see our journey and are inspired by our courage and perservance.

So stand fast.
Hold the lines.
Look deep into their souls and,

Remember this:
Our lives matter.

I know life can be hard,
That sometimes its not about the destination,
But it could be about the journey.

And when we fall off, and there will be days that we fall off.
It's not about hashing over our falls,
It's about getting back up.

We can have 1,000 falls,
But we only need one more rise.

So what life is truly about,
Our comebacks.

It's the rise, the comebacks will be celebrated.
