••After visiting Providence Baptist Church for 10 months and much prayer, we decided to make PBC our church home and Providence Christian School our school choice. That was June 2019… Hayden was going in to 9th grade, Grayson was headed to 5th grade, Sophia was entering 1st grade, and our unexpected addition, Carson, was about 6 weeks.

••This past Sunday, we were blessed to be a part of our Open House Sunday, praising the Lord for all He’s done in allowing the renovations of our auditorium to be completed!! Today, our family is settled, plugged in and happily serving and growing with our church family. The kids are in their 2nd semester of 11th, 7th and 3rd grades and Carson is quickly approaching his 3rd birthday.
••We are thankful to the Lord for providing our family with a church and school like we have here.
🖤🖤“O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.” - Psalm 34:8

A little late posting today…

Working on a special project for our athletic department! Providence Christian School will be hosting our basketball conference final four and championship games!!!

Got my cricut going and my superfoods going down!!!

Been off the grid for a while… attempting to get things back in order. Life happens and sometimes we lose focus, get distracted, and well we’re human, right?

I’ve beaten myself up so many times and I’ve finally come to the point that I can’t determine my success based on how many shakes I drink or how many workouts I can get done in a week. My success is defined by my effort. It’s easy to say “I failed,” but failure is not getting up and trying again.

So here’s to making an effort today☺️

Step 1: made my shake this morning and man did it taste good! 😋

•It’s now been 11 years and the story of God’s goodness in my life never gets old.
•I have permanent issues I deal with and sometimes they feel overwhelming…but God.
•I’ve now had two more children and been able to serve my family and my church as the Lord allows. On the hard days, this is a wonderful reminder to me that it could’ve been so much worse…but God.
•When your days are hard… physical ailments, financial woes, whatever it is… remember…but God. Remember when God has seen you through the tough times. Remember how you watched God provide your need.
•Still claim this verse every single day…
“O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.” Psalm 34:8

So many pics and things to write about our homecoming week, especially today’s events, but I’m just going to post this one tonight.

Tonight we watched Hayden play his Junior year homecoming game with excellence! He’s grown up in so many ways over the last few years. He’s now just months from entering his senior year of high school and we couldn’t be prouder! He has big plans and big goals and, with God’s help, he will succeed!
We are beyond proud of you, #4💙

Day 3 (Thursday)- Seasons of Life Day

Hayden is portraying his future of being in the United States Army. He’s wearing his grandfather’s actual attire which is over 50 years old!! The starch is still holding!!!

Grayson came up with a young adult working as Shift Leader🍔 awesome creativity!!!

Sophia decided to be a librarian- perfect fit for my little bookworm!!!

And well, Carson said he wanted to “cheese” too😂😂😂

Hayden and Sophia chose to dress for the FBI while Grayson went the Alien route! Proud of him for stepping out of his box and doing something “weird”!

Hayden partnered with a friend to be Lakers Basketball players (he wasn’t completely outfitted here).

Grayson and his two buddies, Landon and Everett, chose to be the Nintendo Switch.

Last Sunday of 2021… so glad to have you in church with me today (both services even)!
This time last year, I hadn’t even met you in person. In February, God allowed us to cross paths. A simple invitation led you and your family to start coming to church with us! Then in May, you sat at my dining room table for a Bible study and realized your need for salvation. Separately, Jacob came to know the Lord as well. We had no idea then that Jacob’s life would come to an end only a few months later. The pain of your loss has been wrapped in the grace and peace that only the Lord can give. Our family has watched, prayed, cried and rejoiced as the story unfolded.
Our family has grown in this journey and I’m so thankful for how the Lord works in our lives! 🖤
