Please continue to keep Dixie in your prayers. Mornings and evenings are still really hard and painful for her.
She is 3 weeks post op she is doing pretty well other than the pain.

Dixie has rocked her first 3 days back to school since surgery.

Dixie did the most she has done since surgery today. She went to Sunday school and church. Then in the evening she went to a finishing harvest campfire at my parents house.
She has only been fussy a couple of times today. So, here is to hoping she handles her first day back at school tomorrow with flying colors! We drove to the school on Saturday and she handled the drive great. So, we will continue to pray and know the Lord goes before us.

We got out of the house today and went to see Nana. Nana had great toys and her over sized chair was perfect!

I just wanted to make a post to say thank you so much for the meals, cards, gifts, and prayers as Dixie continues to recover from surgery.
She still has a long way to go as physical therapy won’t start back up until after we see the doctor on November 4th. We are continuing to take things slow as moving from one place to the next still takes time and is challenging. A big thanks to Dan for doing all of Dixie’s transfers and being a big part with helping with her care.
We would appreciate your continued prayers as the rest of us go back to school next week and Dixie stays home with a family friend.

I hope I haven’t been misleading Dixie, but she is really excited about having double hip surgery next week. She is hoping there will be some treats and surprises once she is done. So, if you have any ideas of what we could get her please share them with me.

Thank you for your prayers. We met with a pediatric orthopedic doctor at Shriner’s today and have a plan moving forwarders.

Please share this with others. I talked with the people who will be make Dixie’s new wheelchair and they said once we have half the amount needed for the wheelchair that they will start building it. We currebtly have $4,388 of the $14,5000 that is needed.
