Erin L. Reedy, MS, PhD, CCC-SLP, BCS-S, Assistant Director of Speech Pathology, recently attended the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Annual Convention in Washington, D.C., where she presented two talks:

🟣 “Re-Framing the Clinical Swallowing Evaluation as an Assessment of Risk: Implementation and One-Year Follow-Up”
This session was selected as an ASHA Centennial Session for its innovative approach to advancing clinical swallowing evaluation practice.

🟣 “Post-Stroke Acute Care Dysphagia: Evidence to Guide Evaluation and Management”
Presented collaboratively with colleagues.

Erin also attended the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing Disorders (AB-SSD) Board of Directors annual in-person meeting ahead of the convention—and will be promoted from Secretary to Vice Chair of the Executive Committee!
