June 17, day 13

Brian Bubba Lorentz was discharged this afternoon! Bloodwork is looking great and he is feeling better! He has a check up in a couple of days. Thank you for all the love and support! 🙏💚🙏

June 15th day Day 11 in the hospital.

Brian Bubba Lorentz is slowly recovering which is great! He is feeling better today then yesterday. Very tired but he received 2 pints of blood today so hopefully tomorrow he will feel a bit better! Still very swollen which is making it hard to move around. But, he is determined to get better and get back home! He's got this! Please continue to pray for him and his family! 💪💚👍

June 14th day 10 in the hospital

Brian Bubba Lorentz is continuing to do well bloodwork wise. He is having a very sleepy day today. Still has a lot of swelling which makes it painful to move around. Possibly discharged this weekend. This infection definitely kicked his butt! Bubba is tough and he's got this! 💪

June 11th, Day 7 in the hospital

Brian Bubba Lorentz had a procedure this morning to replace a stent in his bile duct. This is the 2nd time they have done this in a week. Hopefully this one will stop his bile leak! Bubba is doing well and resting! Thankfully they don't have to cut him open everytime. It's kind of like an endoscopy. You know the drill! Lol keep the thoughts and prayers coming! 💚🥰💚

June 10th, 6th day in hospital

Brian Bubba Lorentz will be going for a test to look at his liver. He has a bile leak and they want to see if it's been fixed or if he needs another procedure to try and fix it again. If he needs it fixed again that may happen tomorrow. Bloodwork has steadily been going in the right direction and appears his infection is under control! Keep the thoughts and prayers coming for him and his family! 💚🙏💚

June 9th 5th day in the hospital.

Brian Bubba Lorentz was moved out of the icu and is in a regular transplant room! He is feeling a little better everyday. In pain, uncomfortable but thankful for the progress he is making. One day at a time, 1 foot in front of the other! 💚😊💚 Keep the positive thoughts and prayers going for him and his family!

June 8th day 4 in ICU

Brian is steadily feeling better! His bloodwork is also coming along! He will be transferred to a regular transplant floor once a bed opens up. We are so thankful for his progress!

June 7th, day 3 of ICU. Brian Bubba Lorentz is looking and feeling better. His bloodwork isn't reflecting how much better he feels but is slowly getting better. He is awake and alert! All wonderful news! Continue to keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

June 6th Update on Brian Bubba Lorentz ,

He is doing a little better on paper today. He had a bile leak and that was fixed today. He also has a blood infection. So lots of medications to help get rid of his infection and to help balance out his bloodwork. He isnt out of the woods yet, but he is facing the right direction! Bubba is a tough guy and he's a fighter. He will get through this! Please send lots of love and prayers for him and his family!

Just wanted to give everyone an update. Brian Bubba Lorentz has been admitted into UPMC Montefiore Transplant Center ICU. His bloodwork is all wonky and needs some procedures done to fine tune his labs and medication, and make his kidneys and liver feel better! Drs have told us it's not uncommon and this is just a bump in the road! Please keep Bubba and his family in your thoughts!

Brian Bubba Lorentz is continuing to do well. Still in quite a bit of pain and very swollen which is to be expected. We are just taking it easy at the hotel and laying low. We changed rooms at the hotel so we have a room with a recliner now. CJ is also doing great and went back home today! Thank you for all of your continued support and prayers.

Brian Bubba Lorentz and his cousin CJ were both moved out of the Transplant Intensive Care Unit last night! (TICU) They are continuing to do so well and we are so happy! Please keep praying for these guys!

Brian Bubba Lorentz is doing great! He is anxious to get up and walk around! The swelling in his face is almost completely gone and he finally remembers where the clock is on the wall and can read it!

Brian Bubba Lorentz is out of surgery, and everything went wonderfully. I can't see him for about an hour still. His cousin is also doing well and I got to see him. Continue to pray for a speedy healthy recovery for both guys! 🙏 💚💚💚

Friends, we have some Amazing news to share with you all! Brian has found a Living Donor and will have transplant surgery coming up in May! Bubba's donor his cousin CJ. Please continue to pray for Brian, his donor and families for successful surgery and recovery! The surgery will be in Pittsburgh Pa.
