I volunteer with a wonderful non-profit organization called "Only Maine C***s Rescue." They are dedicated to rescuing Maine C**n mixes from bad situations including high-kill shelters and nursing them to health so they can be adopted into loving forever homes. They have a Pet Expo coming up and I made these earrings for them to sell at their booth! They are a wonderful group. The leaders are the folks that rescued my Asia and Manny.

I was commissioned to make some fancy gold-filled gemstone earrings by David's mother, Janis Bottorff Walker, for our dear friend Carol Zimmerman Thon, based on some they had seen in a catalog. We spent many hours designing and putting them together, and the result was well-received. :) Then I made some with a different color scheme using silver for my Aunt Sheila Lloyd for Christmas, and I like how they turned out.

After working in a wonderful store in Davis, California called "Aquarius," I decided to take a stab at forming my own business and making my own gemstone jewelry. Some of my favorite experiences as a business owner have been my adventures at Starwood Festival, which is a 25+ year old pagan festival that was the inspiration for Burning Man.

Jewelry from The Enchanted Cabin is made with love. Nature makes the stones; I just match up colors and shapes, make some silver swirls, and present them to you!

I am head-over-heels in love with lapis lazuli, rhyolite, malachite, moss agate, amethyst, and unakite. My jewelry also feature lots of Celtic wire spirals alongside the stones.
