25 YEARS. She's the definition of internal promotion, starting as a housekeeper, then moving to receptionist, then lead receptionist, and now Administrative Services Director. She doles out keys, manages garage stalls and storage units, files paperwork, processes bills, and oversees the receptionist team. Details, details, details! Most long-distance runners have packed away their sneakers by the time they reach 60. But that’s when Ellen Demsky was just getting started. Since then, the now 84-year-old has run more than 50 marathons while taking on a part-time career as a university instructor teaching older adults how to prevent cognitive decline.

Residents can use The Club at no additional cost and a limited number of memberships are available for outside community members as well.
