Day 12/31 of Becoming a Proverbs 31 Woman 🪽
Today, I finally felt the release in my spirit to fully delve into what it truly means for the physical body to be the temple of the Holy Spirit and of God.
Let me just say this… conviction hit me today in a whole new way. Not a heavy, shame-filled kind. The holy, loving correction that reminds you: this body isn’t mine, it’s His.
When the Word says, “You are not your own… you were bought with a price” (1 Cor. 6:19–20), it’s not just a verse we glaze over. It’s a call to stewardship. To honor the dwelling place of God not just with what we pray or proclaim, but with what we eat, drink, consume, and even allow ourselves to dwell on mentally.
This shift isn’t about vanity. It’s about victory. It’s about moving from “I have to take care of my body” to “I get to steward the home of the Spirit.”
And as I lean into this truth, I can already feel Him reshaping how I see my health, my habits, and my heart. The way we care for our bodies isn’t just wellness — it’s worship. And I’m ready to walk that out.
