Today we gathered for our annual Christmas luncheon, a long standing MMS tradition. It was a simple chance to slow down, share a meal, and say thank you to the people who show up every day for our riders and for one another. Good food, good company, and well earned appreciation. 🎄

Medical Motor Service has helped people reach essential care since 1918. We complete more than 143,000 rides each year for people who have no other way to get where they need to go.

On Tuesday December 2, ROC the Day runs for twenty four hours. Gifts made that day keep our vehicles on the road and keep rides affordable.

Ten dollars covers one ride for a neighbor who depends on us.

Medical Motor Service came together today for a full Thanksgiving meal, shared with the people who keep this organization moving every day. It was a good reminder of why MMS has lasted more than a century: people who show up, do the work, and look out for one another.

Wishing our riders, partners, supporters, and staff a Happy Thanksgiving. May the week bring some peace, a warm table, and time with the people who matter!

Their continued investment in our mission made it possible to add two new vehicles to our fleet — helping us reach more people who depend on accessible, reliable transportation every day. We’re saddened to share the passing of Joseph Tadaro, a former driver who served our riders with care and dedication. Joseph was also the proud father of our former HR Supervisor, Holly Newman.

Joseph’s kindness and steady presence made a lasting impression on everyone who worked with him and rode with him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Holly and her family during this difficult time.

Friends and family will gather on Sunday, October 26 from 12 PM to 2 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals – Westside, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 27 at 9 AM at St. Pius X Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
