⚠️ ‼️‼️‼️Attention all NYS parents and Early intervention/pediatric therapists‼️‼️‼️⚠️(listen to this podcast please)

NYS Departmment of Early Intervention released a new portal called the EI-Hub. This system is breaking HIPPA AND FERPA, violating your child/fmailies/providers sensitive information. Providers/agencies have not been getting paid since OCTOBER due to issues with this system.

Please reach out to legislators, DEI, NYS, Governor Hochal to get this fixed ASAP! NYS EI is in jeopardy of having little to no providers (which most already have left due to lack of reimbursement rates making it hard for providers to survive).

Currently still waiting for NYS to approve of our PLLC. Until it is received we are on hold. We will hopefully be good by the end of the year to start seeing clients. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Today is Nystagmus Awareness Day! Nystagmus is the eye condition that I was born with and have learned to overcome many obstacles . According to the Nystagmus Network “1 in 1000 people have Nystagmus.” Nystagmus is an eye condition where the eyes constantly move. This pattern can be in an a vertical, Horizontal, or circular fashion. For me, I have congenital horizontal Nystagmus. Nystagmus can effect’s everyone’s life differently. It all depends on the type of Nystagmus and the severity. 👀 👁️
