Applications open 11/18 and with remain open for 1 week!

"We do not ask questions about immigration status or citizenship. Applications will be available in English and Spanish, and support will be offered for those who need assistance completing their application.

If You Are Interested in Applying

We invite you to:
1. Read this entire email thoroughly
2. Read the FAQ to understand the Therapy Fund’s guidelines
3. Preview the questionnaire ahead of that time (read-only document)
1. Tip: Save your answers so you can easily copy & paste them when the questionnaire opens

Important Dates:
• On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 1 PM PST, we will send an email notifying you that the questionnaire is live on the website
• At that time, please follow the directions to apply. The questionnaire will remain open for one (1) week, closing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 1 PM PST

How the Application Process Works

1) Start on the Website
Applicants will start on the website to review the Therapy Fund guidelines and completing the live questionnaire to verify eligibility. To qualify, applicants must:
• Identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color/Global Majority
• An adult of 18-years or older
• Currently live in the so-called "United States" (documentation and citizenship are not required)
• Be in need of financial support for therapy services

2) Application Invitation
If the applicant meets all eligibility criteria and a suitable therapist is available, our team will invite them to review and complete the full application form.

3) Matching with Therapists
Once applications are received, we will begin connecting applicants with therapists according to their indicated preferences.

Common Warning Signs
Talking about:

Feeling unbearable pain
Death or a recent fascination with death
Feeling hopeless, worthless, or trapped
Feeling guilt, shame, or anger
Feeling like they are a burden to others
Changes in behavior or mood:

Recent su***de attempt
Increased alcohol or drug use
Losing interest in personal appearance or hygiene
Withdrawing from family, friends, or community
Saying goodbye to friends and family
Giving away prized possessions
A recent episode of depression, emotional distress, and/or anxiety
Changes in eating and/or sleeping patterns
Becoming violent or being a victim of violence
Expressing rage
Recklessness
When to Seek Professional Help Immediately
Some behaviors may indicate an emergency is happening or that a person is in crisis. If you observe the following behaviors, you should immediately connect the person with professional help, such as the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline, emergency medical services, or a mental health professional.

Talking about immediate harm to oneself or others
Planning to attempt su***de (for example, searching online for information about how to attempt su***de)
Acting in such an erratic manner that you are concerned about their safety.

VET’s the veterans outreach center has a beautiful new center. When I tell you this center was well thought out with you in mind… omg it’s beautiful 🤩 they also have so many recreational activities onsite including a gym and hydro massage bed. Outside of the amenities (laundry , showers and lounge area ) they also have skilled case managers who can assist with getting you benefits regardless of if you have your discharge paperwork or not! They have 3 year unlimited bus passes available that they can provide right onsite , they are open work day and evening hours (3-11pm) . They had so much I’m sure I misssd a lot . However ,
