Are you interested in becoming an INHAA Board of Director? The INHAA BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTION WILL BE HELD AT THE ANNUAL CONVENTION OCTOBER 29, 2025. It is time to decide if you would like to run for election to serve on the INHAA Board of Directors. Please contact Board Member, Kaye Strauch (kas@mtco.com) or the Association Coordinator at: vwiltsie@inhaa.org. All members who qualify and submit a bio by September 29, 2025 will be added to the ballot. Only active members in good standing for two or more consecutive years are qualified to be elected to the INHAA Board. Additionally, board members must be willing to attend the board meetings held the afternoon prior to each seminar (four times per year). Board members must be dedicated to supporting the organization and its members. Each board member serves for a three-year term. Rupal is an energetic, accomplished professional with over 25+ years of direct LTC/SNF/Post Acute Management, senior living, healthcare and operational experience. Her seasoned experience has helped her become a top executive with a strong understanding in overall operations, consulting and management. Rupal has direct operational expertise in turning around struggling skilled nursing and senior housing centers throughout the Midwest and other states across the country. Working in various roles through her career has polished Rupal's understanding of the day-to-day operations and ability to have a global operational perspective. Rupal’s educational Bachelors and master’s level background in clinical and industrial/organizational psychology finesses her abilities in working with people regardless if they are a team member, family, patient, physician, investor or other. Rupal's remarkable ability to develop a positive rapport with colleagues, staff, customers, physicians, public health surveyors, case managers, referral sources and front-line staff proves she is positive-minded and a motivator! Rupal Mistry is an Independent Consultant specializing in long term care operations, senior living and healthcare and has held roles as Vice President of Operations, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer in Skilled Long term care, Senior living, for profit and non-for-profit organizations including a hospital system in Kansas City, Missouri and in other states such as Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Florida and Texas. Rupal currently serves as the Vice President of Operations Consulting with Pearl Healthcare. In these roles she has been responsible for the business operations, support services and management of and facilities within the portfolio, with oversight of strategy and business development, human resources, life enrichment programs, clinical development, risk management and development and mentorship of facility administrators and leadership teams. Her responsibilities also included strengthening program management skills and driving and supporting best clinical practices and outcomes throughout the organization. Rupal is also known as a successful Administrator with an active Illinois license for many years and is known in the industry, with a reputation in developing top facility leadership teams and operating quality facilities with excellent quality measures and outcomes with a positive NOI. Rupal is focused on ensuring that the organization has the tools it needs to succeed and is positioned for future growth and success. Over her years, she has gained the knowledge and experience to know what is needed to succeed in this rapidly changing industry. Besides her passion for the purpose Rupal serves in her work time; Rupal loves spending time with her family and her friends. She was born and raised in the northwest suburbs and still resides there. Her pride and joy are her 2 children! Rupal’s son graduated in May of 2024 Cum Laude from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and her daughter is currently in post graduate studies in Veterinary Medical School at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Rupal and her family are pet lovers and currently have 2 dogs, Milky & Thyme as part of the Mistry family! Rupal loves spending time cooking, treasures her alone time reading and listening to music. She enjoys live concerts and has a passion for landscape photography.
