We recently celebrated the retirement of Debra Cecere, one of our speech language pathologists and ECS Supervisor who had been with us at RHSC for over a decade. We’re fortunate that she will remain with us as ECS Evaluator, but wish her well on the next chapter that she will now have time for! Thank you Deb for your many years and many contributions you gave to us!

On Monday, Al Sigl Community's Sports Committee presented each of their member agencies with a donation check at their annual holiday luncheon. These donations were a result of funds raised throughout the year by Al Sigl's Sports Committee volunteers through events such as their Sports Classic Golf Tournament, A Lift for Abilities Ski Benefit as well as their Fine Tastings fundraiser.

Gratefully accepting this donation from their Sports Committee Chair, Pat DiLucia, were RHSC's President and CEO, Bob Russell and Sara Calus PT, OT, DPT/PT Supervisor. Over $96,000 was distributed to Al Sigl Community's member agencies, and we couldn't be more thankful to have their support for the work we do here at RHSC!

On December 4th, RHSC was among many other Rochester nonprofit organizations that were presented with a generous donation on behalf of the Rochester Press Radio Club. Our President and CEO, Bob Russell, along with our Director of Educational and Clinical Services, Beth McLellan, attended their luncheon and check presentation.

Now in their 75th year, the Rochester Press Radio Club gives back to children's charities through fundraising, volunteering and support for causes benefiting children and families in Rochester and surrounding areas. We thank them for their continued support of our programs and services that allow us to continue our mission of "Communication for Life" for individuals of all ages throughout our community!

Why ROC the Day for RHSC?

Your support allows our occupational therapists to work on sensory exploration with the children in our Early Intervention Developmental Groups. Focusing on fine motor, social and cognitive skills, and establishing self-care routines is so important in a child's development at this early age.

TOMORROW IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO ROC THE DAY FOR RHSC! Bookmark our ROC the Day page at https://roctheday.org/roc-the-day/causes/rhsc and please support RHSC on Dec. 3rd! Thank you!

Why support RHSC on ROC the Day? Your support allows our physical therapists to find new fun and challenging ways to engage the children in our Early Intervention Developmental Groups. The variety of items in our Motor Room such as slides, balance beams and climbing apparatus help our kids improve their range of motion, strength, flexibility, and movement patterns.

Why support RHSC on ROC the Day? Your donations help to provide hearing health care to individuals of all ages!

One of our young client's hearing aids were lost this past year, and her insurance does not cover the cost to have them replaced. Her family would have had to go to great lengths to cover the out-of-pocket cost of new hearing aids. Our Financial Aid Fund, which is made possible by the generosity of our donors, was able to provide her with replacement hearing aids!
