📣 We have a new name!

Formerly known as Palmetto Community Health Care, we are now Palmetto Free Clinic.

Why the change? As our clinic has grown, we wanted a name that clearly reflects who we are and who we serve. We provide free, compassionate healthcare to uninsured adults, and this name makes that easy to understand for both those seeking care and those who help make it possible.

For patients, it’s a clear reminder that you’re not alone and that care is available here in our community. For donors and supporters, it highlights the direct impact of your generosity and the lives you help change every day.

What hasn’t changed is what matters most. Our mission, our services, our team, and our commitment to caring for uninsured patients remain exactly the same.

Thank you for walking alongside us. We’re excited for this next chapter and grateful to continue serving our community as Palmetto Free Clinic 💚

After about 4 weeks of construction, our clinic is looking better than ever—and this is just a sneak peek 👀

✔️ A brighter, more welcoming space for our patients

And let’s talk about our dream team 💪😂—because who needs handymen when you have an incredible medical staff? Yes, those blinds were installed by us, and we couldn’t be prouder of the teamwork that keeps this clinic running every day.

Huge thanks to the construction crews for their hard work and to Grace Lutheran Church of Rock Hill for continued support to our clinic and for sharing their space during renovations.

Look who popped in today—our very own Board Chair, Wil Drennan (and he even brought us some tasty treats!) 🍪

Wil has graciously served on Palmetto Community Health Care’s volunteer Board of Directors for the past six years. His dedication, leadership, and countless hours of service have made a lasting impact on our clinic, our mission, and the patients we serve.

Your commitment will never be forgotten, and your legacy here will continue to guide us. Palmetto Community Health Care will truly miss you, Wil—thank you for everything you’ve given to this organization and community.

We were happy to welcome the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDPH) to our clinic on Tuesday, October 14, for a community Flu Clinic!

They provided flu vaccines to help keep our patients and community healthy this season. 🩺✨
