Just a little cabbage. This is the last one of the season. Surprisingly I started these in the fall. Glad I didn’t pull them and let them from till spring.

My marigolds are in full bloom! I planted ones that grew to be about 4 feet tall. Planted some with my tomatoes, in the same pot and won’t make that mistake again. They are pretty large…but so beautiful!

Crème of tomato soup! Had a few tomatoes I had to use and my daughter sent me a text last night saying she was craving it. So… her wish is my command. Super easy and took about an hour.

In January I decided I didn’t want to buy store bought bread any longer. It was full of junk and no matter how hard I tried I could not stay away from bread. So my journey began. It’s been such an amazingly hard journey. And I’ve learned so much. Now that my sandwich bread is on point I’ve moved on to focaccia. This is my third batch and I’m so excited to try. As I was making this I took my time. I watched the rise. Even getting up at 3am to make sure it wasn’t too warm in the house. I can just tell this time it’s going to be fabulous. Thank you for the recipe. It’s cooling now. Which is the the hardest part honestly.

My seedlings are growing nicely! Today I spent time thinning some of them out, transplanting to bigger pots, and watering them. I don’t have a lot of space right now but I’m using the space I do have. The best advice I was ever given was start where you are at. A couple more weeks and these can go outside.

Fermented garlic honey is a powerhouse for health and wellness. I will ferment for a month and then start consuming. Some say to wait a year, however, you don't have to reap the benefits. Loving my new I got for Christmas.
