Eyes that tear when you go outdoors or when air blows on them are showing symptoms of dry eyes due to Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). MGD treatments aim to unclog eyelid oil glands, improve oil flow, and reduce evaporation, primarily using warm compresses, eyelid hygiene, and, for moderate to severe cases, in-office procedures.

Our team is always learning so that we can better serve our community! This Friday we took some time away from the office to attend a vision symposium hosted by Vance Thompson Vision in Sioux Falls. Attending Continuing Education programs ensures that we are at the top of our game and stay aware of new developments with eye surgery and disease treatment options.
