Hey all it's a new year so get your partners feeling their best!
PEMF Therapy has so many benefits for your equine friend. This horse had kissing spine surgery and to help with his recovery the owner had me do sessions about once a week. This helped increase blood flow to the healing area and reduce some of the pain that we all know comes from surgery.

Here is the taping we completed on the horse from the back twitch video. Kinesiology tape assists jn lifting the top layer of skin allowing more blood flow to the sore area. It also counter works against pain receptors acting as a natural pain killer. It works hand in hand with PEMF sessions or even separately.

Hey all this is one of the cool things about PEMF it can assist in pinpointing soreness as well. Her hips seemed off while riding and when we placed the machine on her hips it was confirmed. There is a slight twitch happening on the sacroiliac joint confirming the soreness and her left hip responded with a slight twice but the right one. Come to find out the next day the hip was slightly out. This session did help relieve some of the pain and soreness. We followed up with a kinesiology taping to help extend the PEMF effects and also continue to relieve the soreness and help it to heal.

I'll post pictures of the taping next.

Fun fact, I can also run my machine on people. This rough stock rider messed up his hand, but still needs to ride this weekend. We did a session sunday and will do another one Friday to get him ready for that Saturday night ride in Cokeville.
