✨ Community in Action! Coming Together for the CARE 4 Kids Bed Build ✨

This past weekend, more than 100 volunteers came together at the CARE Center of New Jersey to build over 30 beds for local children — powered by the generosity of our incredible partner organizations. 🛠️💛

Children in our region who have been sleeping on couches, floors, or shared beds will now have a safe, comfortable place to rest. From kids to retirees, families to single adults, every generation showed up with heart. Your dedication brought comfort, dignity, and hope to children who need it most. 🛏️

A huge thank-you to our partners — Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Project Linus, Bridgewater Marriott, Positive Workforce, The Community Church, Christ Church USA, Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, Young Men's Service League - YMSL — and every volunteer who served with compassion.

This past week, the CARE Center of New Jersey helped spread a little warmth during these freezing temperatures ❄️💙

We proudly distributed over 250 new and gently used winter coats — plus scarves, hats, and boots — to families visiting our food pantry.

As winter weather hit New Jersey hard, these essentials made all the difference for community members without proper cold‑weather gear.

We are deeply grateful to Ocean State Job Lot, The American Legion National Headquarters, FreedomCare, and our amazing community volunteers for their donation. Your compassion ensured that our neighbors could stay safe, protected, and warm.
