This holiday season, too many families in our community will face empty cupboards and parents will wonder how they’ll put food on the table. 💔

At The CARE Center of New Jersey, our Food for HOPE program is stepping in to change that. During our Thanksgiving Food Giveaway alone, we’re preparing to provide nearly 100,000 lbs. of food to 2,500+ families in need. 🦃🥕🍞

But we can’t do it alone. We need CARE Champions. 💙

✨ A Bold Step in the Fight Against Hunger! ✨

On March 20, The CARE Center of NJ unveiled its 10,000 sq. ft. Food for Hope pantry with a powerful ribbon-cutting ceremony! 🎉

Joined by Senator Britnee Timberlake, Rockaway Mayor Joe Jackson, Elizabeth McCarthy (CEO of the Community Food Bank of NJ), and more, this marks a new chapter in our mission to fight hunger, restore dignity, and rebuild lives.

Led by Dr. David Ireland, Food for Hope serves thousands with fresh produce, meats, and essential groceries—and now, a fleet of mobile food trucks will bring food directly to communities in need! 🚛💨

Fighting Hunger and Building Hope at The CARE Center of New Jersey 🌟

We're excited to announce a major milestone in the fight against food insecurity! The CARE Center of New Jersey unveiled its brand new 10,000 sq. ft. Food for Hope pantry in Rockaway, designed to feed families in need across the Garden State. 🍞🥦

But that’s not all! We’ve also launched a fleet of delivery vehicles, including refrigerated trucks, to bring fresh, nutritious meals to some of New Jersey's most underserved communities. 🚚

This pantry is more than just a place to pick up food—it's a hub of hope offering wraparound services like mental health support, legal aid, career services, and more to help families facing food insecurity.

🗓 Starting now, families can visit twice a month to access fresh produce, meats, canned goods, and much more—all at no cost.

Together, we can make a difference. Let’s continue to fight hunger and provide support to those who need it most. 💪
