Look, I get it.

Everyone has an opinion. And while I love that more people are talking about women’s hormonal health, not all advice is created equal.

After years in this work, I’ve seen the same patterns over and over again. And there are a few things I wish every woman in perimenopause knew.

1️⃣ Fatigue is not a personality trait, and it is not just aging.

In almost every woman I work with, chronic exhaustion traces back to depleted minerals.

Magnesium, sodium, potassium - these are the spark plugs of your energy production. And perimenopause depletes them faster than almost any other season of life.

2️⃣ Mood swings and anxiety are not just hormonal.

Yes, estrogen and progesterone are fluctuating. But minerals like magnesium and zinc play a direct role in neurotransmitter production and stress response.

When they are low, your nervous system has nothing to buffer the hormonal shifts happening underneath.
