Yesterday we held a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Wesley Willows Academy!🎉

The ceremony featured speeches from Wesley Willows Executive Director Jessica Story, President and CEO Frances Salinas, and resident Susan Zimmerman, who along with her late husband Phil was instrumental in making our CNA academy a reality.

In attendance were members of the Wesley Willows Board of Trustees, leadership team, staff, community members, and of course, our amazing instructors and first cohort of students!

Special thanks to the Wesley Willows Dining Services Team for providing delicious appetizers for attendees to snack on.

This ceremony represents a significant milestone in our organization's commitment to workforce development, compassionate care, and community investment. Thank you to everyone who helped to make it happen!

Wesley Willows Academy is ready to welcome our first cohort of students tomorrow! We are very excited! Students will be with us for 8 weeks to prepare for their state exam.

We are excited to officially announce the opening of the Wesley Willows Academy, our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program!

Wesley Willows Academy will offer an 8-week CNA training course beginning April 6, with applications due by March 16.

The program includes classroom instruction, skills lab practice, and supervised clinical experience, preparing students to sit for the Illinois CNA certification exam upon completion.
