We’re excited to share some BIG news! 🎉
Our hive just got bigger 🐝 — Honeycomb Speech Therapy is now in-network with Hill Physicians Medical Group!

We’re also contracted with Kaiser Permanente and Mercy Medical Group, accept most PPO plans (with out-of-network benefits), and partner with Partnership HealthPlan (with a letter of agreement). Private-pay families can take advantage of our prompt-pay discount.

We couldn’t wait until National SLP Day to celebrate—so this crew of speechies took a little early field trip to ASHA Urban Spa for some much-needed R&R! ✨🧖‍♀️🧖‍♂️

From icy cold plunges ❄️ to steamy hot rooms ♨️, we tested our limits and reminded ourselves just how strong (and resilient!) we really are. The real challenge? Staying quiet 🤫 during the entire experience… not exactly easy for a group of speech therapists—lol! 🗣️

Grateful for this team, the work we do, and the chance to unwind together. Happy (early) SLP Day to all our fellow voice-loving, language-boosting pros! 💬❤️

Meet our Clinical Director, Yelena Gerez!

From demonstrating tongue placement during myofunctional therapy 👅 to running a full-on Critter Clinic on the floor 🐾, to typing up reports between sips of coffee ☕ — Yelena does it all with heart and humor.

She’s the brains behind the care 🧠, the calm in the chaos ✨, and now… thanks to a little AI magic, officially Barbie-fied! 👛

Whether she’s guiding little ones toward clearer speech 🗣️ or creating big-picture plans for our clinic 📝, we’re so lucky to have her leading the way.

We’re so excited to officially introduce Vanessa Orozco, our incredible bilingual Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, who has been such a joy to have on our clinical team these past few months! 🤍

Vanessa brings a warm heart, a sharp clinical mind, and a passion for helping clients find their voice! She’s a proud Sacramento State grad and licensed SLPA with experience in early childhood education and supporting young adults with traumatic brain injuries. Her love for working with children shines through every session, and her bilingual Spanish-English skills make her an invaluable support to our diverse community of families.

When she’s not in the therapy room, you can catch Vanessa at the gym, traveling, gaming on her Nintendo Switch, or soaking up quality time with her family.

We’re beyond lucky to have Vanessa on board—Honeycomb is sweeter with her in it! 🍯
