Hey friends 💛

I know I’ve been a little MIA lately… life has been full in the best (and busiest) way these past few months. Between being a senior mom, a baseball mom, teaching, and helping coordinate the Cedar Valley Arts Festival, it’s been a whirlwind!

I’ve missed sharing all my “one swap at a time” favorites with you, and I’m hoping by June I can get back into the rhythm of posting and sharing our clean swaps again.

In the meantime, I’d love your prayers for this mama’s heart as my senior gets ready to head off to Berklee College of Music in August. So excited for him… but wow, this season is emotional ❤️

I am so excited to get this package today!

My youngest son has keratosis pilaris on his arms and cheeks. It doesn’t bother him but I noticed it is getting worse.

I randomly found this company when searching for natural option to help clear it up.

I grabbed the Milk bath and the purity soap bar! Just wanted to share if anyone is dealing with skin issues! The reviews were fabulous on their website! Shipping was so quick and it’s very affordable!

This is legit my most favorite organic clean make-up swap I’ve found and believe me, I’ve tried a lot!!!

I’ve been using it for a year now and my skin has transformed so much. It works for all skin types also (I have oily skin)!

It only has 5 clean ingredients: organic pumpkin seed oil, organic jojoba oil, organic vitamin E, non-nano zinc oxide, iron oxide.

If you’ve never tried -och make up before, I highly recommend this swap!

Organic pasta, on the other hand, is typically made with simpler ingredients—just organic wheat and water—no synthetic additives, no bleaching agents, no unnecessary fillers. It’s a small swap that can make a big difference for digestion, inflammation, and overall health.

Organic marinara + organic spaghetti from Aldi.
✔️ Organic sauce: under $2
✔️ Organic pasta: under $2
✔️ Organic ground beef : $7

Add in their organic, grass-fed & finished ground beef, and you’ve got a clean, easy dinner for around $10 for the whole family.

This week’s simple swap: ditch seed oils and try healthier options like ghee, beef tallow, coconut oil, olive oil, or avocado oil instead. Small changes really do add up!

I even found my own oil sprayer at TJ Maxx for just $5, making it so easy to use better oils at home.

I have found that Aldi is the cheapest option for these oils!

Throughout this whole journey, one of the hardest struggles for me is finding clean alternatives for the foods my kids love ❤️ to eat.

This is where a lot of compromises coming play and I have to pick my battles. I stressed myself out so bad in the beginning of this journey because I would go down a rabbit hole and read EVERYTHING!

Then I realizing it’s baby steps- one swap at a time!

So let’s talk RAMEN NODDLES 🍜

My kids love them, I grew up on them too, however, they are AWFUL for you!!!!

So I went on a hunt for a cleaner alternative! I found 2 options tha have worked for us!

Option 1: It’s perfect! Organic and super clean! No junk at all! Only down side, you make your own broth and season yourself! (That’s why it’s so clean 😉) It’s affordable from Costco with 12 to a pack (I think under $10)! I love them! But my kids want quick and don’t love that you have to do your own broth!

Option 2: It’s not perfect, it’s a mix of okay ingredients and some not so great ingredients but a far cry from the .50 cent ramen packets! So it’s a step up and better but not perfect! It’s in a paper cup already (which I don’t love) but the boys do! It has some organic ingredients and high protein (20 grams) from Aldi for 1.50 each!

This is where I have to compromise, it’s better than the cheap ones but not super clean! This is not a perfect journey but I’ve had to learn to pick my battles. (Ingredient in comments)
