Urgently looking for a home for a lab - 3 years old...contact me. Here is more info...
He is 3 years old now, has lived with cats and does fine after the cats put him in his place 🙂 he is much good with older kids and adults, however he is okay with my 3 year old but we have to be right on top of him to make sure to tell him to back up or say “whats that about “ when he gets moody. He was given to us from a person who had dogs and was good with them and he has been good with ours but due to his past experience with one dog we were told to always feed him separately from others and never keep food down all the time as he would over eat so we do that as well. He does eat fast so you will have to feed him food but pick up water and then wait to let him have water till he is done about 30 mins before a meal or after a meal.
"He loves to play ball ⚽️ anytime of the day he will always be willing to play and doesn’t know how to stop. So if he sees a ball he won’t see anything else that is in the way even danger.
Just like any Lab they need a job to do or to be with someone all the time and need outside time to be happy. He is definitely stuck in the crate more then anything else right now as we are way to active and we don’t have the space for such a big dog.
If you leave the house we were told to crate him so we do and he is amazing with it, he even likes it when you’re home.
He gets nervous so he will p*e at times.
He isn’t fixed so that is one downside:( we aren’t able to do that. He has separation anxiety so would be best with someone who can be with him or not leave him for super long as labs love family’s"
