Since 1970, obesity rates have more than doubled for not just adults, but children, too. A study done just this year shows that two-thirds of American adults are overweight, over a third are clinically obese and that children and teens under 19 now make up 25 percent of this number! But that’s not even the worst of it. Many experts are predicting that by the year 2030, the obesity rate in the U.S. will be over 50 percent! My goal, is to help people make a difference within their lifestyle by motivating people to lead happier, healthier lives through nutrition and exercise. Being healthy doesn't have to be hard or complicated - in fact, it can be fun! As a weight loss coach, (certification through National Association for Fitness Certification), I work with people to change their lifestyle so that they can get down to a healthier weight. As a meal planner, I put together specialized menus for individuals and groups who might have particular eating requirements or who need guidance in healthy meal planning. We all know by now that there's no magic pill or secret to staying fit, but it doesn't have to be hard or time consuming to look and feel your best, either.
