What’s a skeletons favorite food?
Ribs! 🥸
Speaking of ribs, they protect vital organs like the heart and lungs which help facilitate the transfer of necessary nutrients like oxygen being absorbed into tissues like blood and bones. Bones are broken down and rebuilt over time to help accommodate growth as we get older. Bones help hold a structure of stability for our muscles, so that when you use your muscles, they have an anchor that allows us to be mobile and functional. Bones are often considered rigid and immovable by normal means, but areas like the skull and ribs allow flexion of the bones so they allow the body to operate comfortably. (skull has sutures and the ribs expand and contract) Bones also store important areas of production for red blood cells, which will return eventually help fuel a healthy skeleton. Massage can help improve circulation of oxygenated blood which promotes healthy bone growth and organ functioning. Along with supplying fresh oxygenated blood to our bodies tissues, massage helps reduce the pathogenic absorption that can impact joint health and inflammation. Have a ribboting massage from me and your bones will thank you!
