You want this experience to be the most peaceful and beautiful experience ever. You want a calm environment, an environment where you will be comfortable in. A doula can help you navigate all the things. Also a doula can help you with different birthing positions, comfort measures, breathing techniques and so much more!

Unless you have a medical condition to where you can’t move around or you got an epidural move how you want. How you feel during labor is important. You will have a much better birth being able to move around and adjust to the baby moving though the birth canal. Heck even with the epidural you can have your team move you!

My first baby I was in the bathtub, then the bed and finally he was born with me sitting on the birth chair.
My second I knew going in I would try squatting and sitting up because that’s how my first ending up coming out.
My 3rd was the surrogate baby and I had her sitting up like the second.
I have TERRIBLE back labor and laying down is not for me at all! I told them going into my last 2 that I would not start laying down to not even have me do that.

Almost 2 years ago I started coming to Beyond the Bump Chiropractic. I started when I was 9 weeks pregnant with my surrogate baby! When I started I was in transition 73 core score. Fast forward to now and my score is EXCELLENT i scored a 99! Dr.Noe is a Family Wellness Chiropractor that specializes in Prenatal and Pediatrics and I absolutely LOVE her. My family loves her. She has helped me understand my body’s signals and how to communicate that. I am posting this to Show everyone what staying on top of your overall wellness can do instead of coming in just when you have a problem come up. I come in once a month and if I’m feeling off I get in sooner. I have never felt better and am so thankful for Dr.Noe and her CA Nayeli for watching my boys while I get adjusted. Her office is so inviting and kid friendly. My boys love coming also and have grown up getting adjusted in this office.

I am all about taking control of my health and my family’s health. Chiropractic care will always be the first step before other methods are taken.

I know mine was the best I could have ever imagined. A doula looks different for everyone and I personally didn’t want a whole lot from her because my husband is an amazing birth partner. I just wanted her to hold space with me. She held my hand and stood in my presence and that was all I could have ever asked for. 🥰

It doesn’t matter if they want to be in the room with you. Your comfort matters and you deserve a stress free environment, an environment that calms you, brings you happiness when bringing life into the world.

It doesn’t matter how they gave birth it’s your birth. Every birth is beautiful no matter how you choose.

Become one with your body and trust the process.it’s an incredibly beautiful one.

Birth in any position you want.

Don’t be afraid to say no, or I need some time to think come back in 5. Don’t let people rush you.

With Spring here what are a few things you would like to get accomplished✔️
I know for me spring cleaning is always a big one! Have fun with it get the kids involved make it fun and exciting.
Another one is cleaning the yard up making it my happy place and my kids. Sometimes it’s as easy as re-arranging the toys and play equipment. That usually makes my kids want to play outside more!
Whatever it is remember HAVE FUN you got this!!

There are so many benefits of having continuous labor support! Here are just a few:
Increased~oxytocin, mobility, self esteem.
Decreased~pain and anxiety, use of epidurals.
Increased~satisfaction, spontaneous vaginal birth, infant outcomes.
Decreased~C-section rates, use of extra interventions including Pitocin.

I know we often forget about ourselves as mamas but don’t! You are just as important your mental and physical Health matters! Get a massage, take that lunch with friends, go to the nail salon, see a chiropractor.
