Meet the Staff Monday!
Emi Bennett, Optician

Meet Emi, a dedicated optician at Eyecare Rockwall who knows exactly what it’s like to see the world clearly for the first time. After graduating as a Heath Hawk in 2018, Emi entered the optical field in 2023 and officially joined our team in November 2025.

Emi’s passion for eye care started in the third grade. After struggling to see the board at school, she put on her first pair of glasses and was amazed to finally see individual leaves on the trees. She loves sharing this "aha!" moment with first-time glasses wearers to help them feel comfortable and excited about their new vision.

When she’s off the clock, Emi is an avid reader who loves spending quality time with family, including her two pets—a dog and a cat. And she is also a blossoming gardener… while she admits to currently having a brown thumb, she is working with determination toward having a green one!

Shannon Lowe
Lead Technician/ Contact Lens Manager

Professionally, Shannon is passionate about eyecare and takes pride in helping patients see and feel their best. He values growth, balance, and making time for both personal interests and meaningful connections. He leads the technician team, oversees the contact lens gallery, as well as coordinates all contact lens orders and shipments to Eyecare Rockwall and patients.

Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies from the University of Texas Dallas, and he speaks fluent Japanese. Though originally interested in pursuing a Doctorate in Optometry, he found his passion in high intensity clinical logistics and patient care support. He joined Eyecare Rockwall in November of 2022, and we are so blessed to have him as our valued team member.

Shannon enjoys staying active and engaged, whether that’s on the tennis court, playing pickleball, or keeping up with fitness goals. Outside of that, he has a strong interest in gaming and technology, always appreciating the strategy and innovation behind both. In quieter moments, you can find Shannon experimenting in the kitchen or unwinding with a favorite game.

Meet the Staff Monday!
Stephanie Weddle, Office Manager

Stephanie grew up in Mesquite and graduated from Horn High School. Out of high school, she jumped straight into the corporate world as a bank teller and quickly grew fond of accounting, specializing in checks and balances. She moved into the legal field before joining Eyecare Rockwall, bringing 15 years in accounting and experience in office management.

Patient care and management are Stephanie’s top priority. She coordinates our Doctors schedules, oversees all service teams, office reception & logistics, communication, billing and receivables, and patient coordination.

Away from her work family, Stephanie is a devoted wife and proud mama of four, balancing family life with her love for the outdoors and community. When she’s not cheering from the stands at her kids’ sports games, she can be found on the lake, riding side-by-sides on scenic trails, or soaking in the energy of a live country concert… an experience she never misses. Stephanie values family, friends, and making memories that last a lifetime.

Michelle Farmer, Optician

Michelle grew up in the area and began her optical career at 17. She has always worked in the Rockwall area, where she has built strong connections with her patients over the years. Michelle is dedicated to helping her patients find the perfect glasses and is passionate about their vision, always striving to exceed their expectations.

Michelle and Dr. Britt have enjoyed a professional referral relationship for decades. They shared the same passion for delivering patients the best in eye wear, despite limitations of their insurance. She cares deeply about “getting the prescriptions right”! She joined Eyecare Rockwall a year ago, and we are all so blessed that she did.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her significant other, her two adult daughters, and her grandson and granddaughter, who call her "Gege." She also loves listening to her father's stories and tales, especially while enjoying his cooking.

Jimmy Adcox
Laboratory Optician/ Superhero

Jimmy entered the optical business in 2004 and joined Eyecare Rockwall over nine years ago. He has a passion for ensuring that every pair of glasses is made to the highest standards and keeps the optical laboratory humming. Also known as our resident superhero “Batman”, Jimmy answers to the office bat signal!

Jimmy enjoys staying current on lens technology and utilizes the most up-to-date advancements in optics available. Knowing that Jimmy cut and inspected your glasses will give you confidence in knowing that you are receiving only the best products, made with the highest quality standards and care.

Outside of work, Jimmy enjoys a busy life with his family, taking care of his "honey-do" list and looking after the many animals his wife and daughter bring home.
