They treat their health the same way they treat their business, finances, and relationships — as something worth maintaining.

The members I see in practice aren’t just trying to get out of pain.

They want to:
• Stay sharp mentally
• Stay strong physically
• Stay present for their families
• Stay in the game for decades

Because when your body works well, everything in your life works better.

And the reality is this — ignoring small problems now almost always leads to bigger ones later.

Take care of the body that carries you through life.

If you’re already in a good place and want to protect the health and lifestyle you’ve built, this kind of care is how you stay there.

Not making a decision about your health doesn’t mean nothing happens.

It simply means the default path of the culture takes over.

And in our current environment, that usually leads to more disease, more medications, and less vitality as the years go on.

Scripture reminds us that our bodies are not our own. They are entrusted to us.

That means stewardship matters.

And stewardship requires intentional decisions — not waiting until things break.

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about direction.

Most busy professionals approach health the same way they approach work.

Push harder. Do more.

But your nervous system doesn’t work like a business.

If you’re already operating under a heavy load of stress — long hours, responsibility, decision fatigue — adding more stress in the name of health can actually backfire.

Example: exercise.

Exercise is incredible… when it matches your capacity.

But a lot of business owners jump straight into intense workouts, HIIT, or long endurance sessions while their body is already running on empty.

Sometimes the smartest move is temporarily focusing on:

• walking
• mobility work
• recovery
• strength work at lower intensity

Build capacity first. Then push.

Same with hydration.

Drinking large amounts of purified water with no minerals can actually dilute your electrolyte balance and increase mineral loss.

Your body needs sodium, potassium, magnesium, and trace minerals to actually hydrate cells.

Water alone isn’t hydration.

Five things you might judge me for as a men’s health professional 👇

1️⃣ I don’t wake up at 4AM to biohack my life.

I’m a dad of three.

Almost every night I’m up at 2AM helping with one of the kids so my wife can sleep.

Before I serve myself, I serve my family.

Men are hormonally better equipped to handle broken sleep. So I do.

That means in this season, sleep matters more than a 4AM cold plunge.

Leadership starts at home.

2️⃣ I don’t have a gym membership.
And I don’t have an impressive home gym.

I’ve got a couple kettlebells and a mat.

I train at playgrounds.
I train in the real world.

Because I want my kids to see it.

More lessons are caught than taught.

If I disappear to train in isolation, they don’t learn how to care for their bodies.

That doesn’t mean I sacrifice strength.

Scroll down a few posts — I randomly benched 225 after not touching a barbell in years.

You don’t need fancy equipment.
You need consistency.

3️⃣ I don’t take a ton of supplements.

I eat real food.

Quality meat.
Organ meats.
Minerals from real salt.

I’ll drink salt water before I drink a neon pre-workout.

Most men don’t need more powders.

They need better inputs.

4️⃣ I prioritize brotherhood over hobbies.

Hobbies are fine.

But twice a week I’m in real conversations with other men.

Faith. Accountability. Hard topics.

Strength without community turns into isolation.

And isolation weakens men faster than inactivity.

5️⃣ I get adjusted even when I don’t hurt.

Pain is not the indicator of function.

You don’t wait to gain 40 pounds to start working out.

And you don’t wait for your nervous system to break down before taking care of it.

Your brain and spinal cord are the communication highways of your body.

If motion decreases, communication decreases.
If communication decreases, performance decreases.

For me, this isn’t about chasing pain relief.

It’s about being the strongest, clearest, most regulated version of myself — for my family.
