Genetics laboratory professionals are essential to modern diagnostics, but our compensation data are often outdated or incomplete.

AGT is conducting a salary and benefits survey to better understand pay, differentials, benefits, and career progression across roles, specialties, and regions. Results will be analyzed in aggregate and shared with the community to support recruitment, retention, and institutional benchmarking.

If you work in a genetics lab or education setting, please complete the survey and share it with colleagues.

AGT is launching a new salary and workforce survey for genetics laboratory professionals, including cytogenetics, molecular, biochemical genetics, and related specialties.

If you work as a technician, technologist, educator, supervisor, manager, or director in a genetics lab or educational program, we’d value your input. The survey is brief, confidential, and will be used to inform benchmarking, advocacy, and a planned publication on workforce trends.

Add your voice and help define the current landscape of compensation and career pathways in our field.
