One year married. šŸ’

This first year has been full of love, but also full of change, challenge, and growth. We’ve grieved the loss of your mom. We’ve walked through fertility treatments and the heartbreak that followed. We’ve built a practice from the ground up and navigated major career transitions. We’ve lost a few beloved animals. We haven’t ridden as much as we’d like. And there was that one moment — in a room where time stood still — that reminded us just how fragile everything is.

But through it all, you’ve shown up — patient, steady, and full of love.

You’ve supported me in ways I never knew I’d need.

You’ve carried the weight when I couldn’t. You’ve believed in my dreams, especially when I doubted them myself.

Marriage in year one hasn’t been picture perfect. It’s been real. It’s been hard. And it’s been ours. And I wouldn’t trade a second of it.

I’m endlessly grateful to call you my partner in this life. Happy anniversary, Joey. Here’s to everything we’ve built and everything still to come. ā¤ļø

Ps. Thank you for a beautiful anniversary dinner - we loved your dishes, concept, and vibe ✨

She’s here. šŸ’«

After years of training, months of planning, and an extraordinary amount of behind-the-scenes dedication—ARBRA Plastic Surgery is officially open.

This practice was built with intention, heart, and a clear vision: to deliver breast reconstruction and aesthetic surgery that’s more advanced, more personalized, and entirely patient-centered.

I’m incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from my family, friends, colleagues, and this remarkable community. You’ve stood behind me every step of the way, and your belief in this mission has brought ARBRA to life.

Northwest Arkansas, thank you for believing in this mission. I’m honored to serve you and proud to call this home.
This is just the beginning.

Today, I had the honor of attending the ceremonial signing of Arkansas Senate Bill SB83, now Act 424, which marks a major step forward in supporting breast reconstruction access and patient rights.

This bill represents more than just legislation — it’s the stories, strength, and voices of the patients who stood up and spoke out. Their courage paved the way for this moment, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have been invited to stand beside them.

To every patient who has walked this path, and to those who will in the future — this one’s for you.

Thank you to the incredible advocates, lawmakers, medical professionals, and who made this possible. It’s proof that when patients lead, progress follows.

It’s official — SB83 is now LAW in Arkansas!

Starting January 1, 2026, all health insurance plans in the state will be required to cover all forms of breast reconstruction surgery — including advanced microsurgical procedures like DIEP flaps. This landmark legislation ensures that women can choose the best reconstructive option in consultation with their surgeon, without being limited by insurance coverage.

Under SB83, any breast reconstruction procedure deemed the best course of treatment by a healthcare professional, in consultation with the patient and consistent with medical standards, will be covered by insurance. This empowers women to make informed decisions about their reconstructive care without the added concern of insurance limitations.Ā Moreover, HB1859 was approved to amend current laws on mastectomies by requiring health plans to cover the use of artificial or biological mesh and nerve grafts in reconstruction surgeries.

SB83 closes critical coverage gaps, protects access to highly specialized care, and requires fair reimbursement, so these life-changing surgeries remain sustainable and available to those who need them.

This legislative victory is a significant step forward in closing the gap in breast cancer care and ensuring health equity for all women in Arkansas. We extend our deepest gratitude to State Senator Joshua Bryant for championing this bill and to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) for their advocacy.

When most people think of plastic surgery, they think of breast augmentation or facelifts. But there’s another side that doesn’t always get the spotlight — reconstructive surgery.

This is for the woman recovering after a double mastectomy.
For the burn survivor learning to feel at home in her body again.
For the person with a congenital anomaly who’s finally able to live without others judgement.
For the trauma survivor who wants her scars to tell a different story now.

Reconstructive surgery isn’t about vanity — it’s about restoration.

Of confidence. Of function. Of identity.

Whether it’s microvascular surgery, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, abdominal wall reconstruction, or scar revision — these procedures change lives in the deepest, most meaningful ways.

We don’t just see what’s ā€œon the surface.ā€
We see you. Your story. Your strength.
And it’s an honor to be part of your healing.

If you’ve ever been curious about what reconstructive surgery can do, or you’re walking through recovery and don’t know where to start — we’re here for you. šŸ’¬
You’re not alone in this.

Let me say something you might need to hear today:

Choosing to pursue aesthetic surgery isn’t vain. It isn’t superficial. And it’s definitely not something you need to justify to anyone.

Plastic surgery is about doing what feels right for you.

It’s not about chasing perfection or becoming someone else—it’s about feeling more at home in your own skin.

Maybe you’re reclaiming your body after pregnancy.
Maybe you’re finally ready to stop hiding in photos.
Maybe this is something you’ve quietly wanted for years, and now you’re ready.

Whatever your reason—it’s valid.
This is your body, your choice, your story.
I’m here to offer honest guidance, modern techniques, and compassionate care every step of the way.

✨ Exciting Update ✨
Ā
I’m thrilled to share that a new chapter is on the horizon! I will be leaving my current practice the end of May to start my own practice in Northwest Arkansas and remain fully committed to delivering the highest level of care in reconstructive and aesthetic surgeryĀ to the Northwest Arkansas community. I will continue seeing patients at my current practice through May 26.
Ā
It has been an incredible privilege to care for so many patients, and I’m deeply grateful for the trust placed in me. I also want to thank Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas for our ongoing collaboration in expanding access to advanced breast reconstruction. I’m excited to continue our shared mission of restoring and empowering patients through modern breast reconstruction techniques.
Ā
Stay tuned—In May, I will share all the details on my next steps, including location and contact information.
Ā
Thank you for your continued support šŸ’—
