———> After I started growing flowers with the purpose of cutting and selling, I found myself just drowning in flowers that first year. They were in vases in every room of the house, and family and friends homes too ☺️ I found myself wondering what on earth I could do with all of the excess. I stumbled across different kinds of pressing and drying methods, and found that I absolutely love the art of manipulating pretty dried blooms into jewelry. A resin obsession ensued, and here I am, growing flowers to cut, to sell, to press, to smell, to love and adore... if you love flowers enough to wear them, check out what I’ve pressed at .orel 😍 (Winged everlasting daisy in gold pendant.. and a pretty purple Aster)

Sometimes cosmos can take your breath away...
- My flower garden is pretty sparse this year. Instead of letting disappointment take root in me, I’m relishing the blooms I do find out in that crazy jungle, and pressing and collecting petals to dry for confetti, like these pretty cosmos.
It’s still so therapeutic, and there’s enough for a bouquet here and there. I’ll take it. Next year might be a bit different. ❤️
