Your body isn’t broken
I can’t tell you how many times people share that they’re body is messed up, broken, doesn’t work etc.
Whether it’s not being able to lose weight, constantly feeling tired, poor digestion, aches & pains— the list goes on.
And what I always ask—
Is it fighting against you or is it trying to tell you something and you’re not listening?
👉🏼 When your body tells you it needs rest are you giving it or are you pushing past it?
👉🏼 Are you perpetually dieting,
eating 1,200 calories? Shoving low calorie high-volume foods down your throat and then complaining about feeling bloated 24/7?
👉🏼 When your digestion is off and you know it, but you’re unwilling to make the changes necessary to help it. So you just continue eating any and all foods.
Hello! Your body is giving you signals all the time!
It LOVES to talk and tell you how you can best support it, but often, we run in the opposite direction interpreting its chatter as being "lazy" or saying something is “Wrong" with it.
In reality, it's often working overtime
downregulating processes, allocating
resources it's not receiving
(ex: proper nutrition, rest), & doing what it needs to keep you alive.
Instead of growing in frustration with it what if you took a second and asked it “hey body, what do you need from me today?”
The body does amazing things when you allow it to be heard.
Your body is in your favor it always has been, it’s just waiting for you to be on its side too 💛
