Monday Motivation
As I reflect on my journey, I’m reminded of where it all began. I was raised by my grandmother—a woman with only a 6th-grade education. We lived in a home with no bathroom and we only had an option for cold water in our faucet. Some days, we had what we called makeshift meals—whatever we could pull together—but it was always enough to carry us through and make sure we were fed.
We didn’t have much, but what we did have was love, faith, and a spirit of perseverance.
I knew early on that I was determined to receive greater.
The road hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced challenges, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty. But through it all, I remained resilient. I didn’t let where I started define where I could go.
Many who’ve heard my story have said I’m a testimony—and I carry that with honor.
I’m so grateful for my grandmother. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for her love, her sacrifice, and her strength. Her example taught me to keep going, even when the odds are stacked against you.
So today, I want to encourage you: no matter where you come from, what you’ve been through, or what you’re facing—there is more for you. Your beginning does not determine your ending. Stay faithful, stay focused, and keep going.
You are a testimony in the making.
