đŁ We are very excited to introduce our newest therapist at Hikma Counseling, Aisha Raja, M.A. Aisha is now accepting adults and adolescent clients for online therapy. Read more about Aisha below:
âI work with those navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, family and relationship challenges, trauma, grief, and self-esteem.
Many clients seek me out due to our shared identity. As a Pakistani-American Muslim woman from an immigrant family, Iâm passionate about working with diverse and underserved communities, understanding the unique challenges they face.
I take a holistic and integrative approach, considering the whole personâmind, body, and spirit. I tailor therapy to each clientâs unique needs using evidence-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapies and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
My goal is to empower you through empathy and collaboration, providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore emotions, promote healing, and support personal growth and self-awareness. A strong therapeutic relationship will guide our work together.
The first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, even scary. It can be tough to share your experiences, but you donât have to go through it alone. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and strive to create a safe, supportive space for self-exploration, where you feel heard and free from judgment. I look forward to supporting your journey.â
