I hurt my shoulder in May.

By September, I was back to pull-ups, cleans, jerks, and snatches.

And in December… I still chose surgery.

Here’s the part most people miss 👇

Pain doesn’t automatically mean surgery.
And surgery doesn’t automatically mean you rushed it.

For six months, I built strength.
I modified load.
I rebuilt capacity.

So when I finally made the decision to operate, I walked in strong, stable, and nearly pain-free.

My recovery has been smoother than I ever expected — not because I’m lucky… but because I prepared.

That’s the message of this week’s newsletter:

👉 Educated decisions > rushed decisions

👉 Strong going in = better coming out
