The Rome High School Early Childhood Education program is a 5 semester course where students who are interested in working with young children learn what it takes to work and care for children ages birth to 12. Students earn college credit through GNTC, and complete coursework in the field of child development as well as the health, safety and nutrition of the young child. Students are given the choice of where they would like to work, and how blessed were we that they chose our Head Start and Early Head Start programs to acquire that hands-on expert!
