I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, since 1991. I spent 6 months at Ground Zero offering Mental Health Care with the Red Cross offering me a unique opportunity to observe and work with those struggling with PTSD. I am TRULY concerned about the State of Florida. I was in the process of relocating to St Petersburg until the hurricane hit. Human beings are multifaceted. We all have opposing opinions, beliefs,emotions and opinions. Life is not just about black or white (no pun intended), but grey.
Stress is a natural occurrence. It’s the physical and emotional agitation we feel when faced with threats. Since prehistoric times it’s the body’s automatic response to stressful situations that has prepared us for the “flight or fight response. In prehistoric times, our very survival depended upon a perceived threat. That’s why, I believe, perception is everything! It’s not the situation, it’s how we PERCEIVE IT!

Life, to me, is about INTENTION. It’s not just about WHAT we do, it’s WHY we do what we do. If our intention comes from love, compassion, tolerance, and empathy, I believe that it will eventually come full circle.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, observing Vivek Ramaswamy, I was watching someone (both playing tennis almost in the n**e, then spigots at the Republican debate), I believe he was in a MANIC STATE, and not “filled with energy” as some would propose him to be. It’s bad enough that we have one person on the ballot who’s a sociopathic narcissist. We can’t afford to add insult to injury
