You don’t need to be a victim of cold and flu season. Your health is completely in your control. A few things you can do to avoid a nasty bug this year:
1. Get plenty of sleep. Your immune system rebuilds and is most active while you sleep
2. Minimize stress. High cortisol suppresses immune function along with other important bodily functions
3. Eat a healthy diet and avoid alcohol. If your body is busy fighting off inflammation from poor diet and alcohol, it won’t be able to fight off that virus in your body
