Yesterday Sicangu Youth Council had the honor of reading the names of the children who attended the Rapid City Boarding School and got to lead the Remembering the Children Memorial Walk 🧡 Wopila to Amy Sazue and her team for letting us be a part of this event and for building such a beautiful memorial for our relatives!

Sicangu Youth Council also got to lead the march alongside Leonard Peltier, Nick Tilsen, Macklemore and many other amazing leaders to start off the Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration hosted by NDNCollective! It was an amazing day spending it with our relatives from different tribes and places and coming together to be proud of who we are.
