Aging isn’t something that just happens to you.

It reflects what you continue to do—or stop doing.

In your 60s, it’s not about doing more.
It’s about doing what actually works.

Consistent strength training.
Intentional movement.
Taking care of your body instead of fighting it.

You don’t need extreme workouts or constant intensity.
You need a plan you can stick to.

Because strength doesn’t disappear with age—

it fades when it’s no longer a priority.

Take control of the process…
and this stage of life can feel stronger than you expected.

Aging Strong…but lifting LESS each decade.💪🏻

I used to think doing more was the key to staying strong.

In my 40s, I could train hard every day and bounce right back.

In my 50s, I was still consistent—but recovery started whispering, “slow down.”

In my 60s, I’ve learned to listen.
I still lift. I still challenge myself.
But now I respect recovery just as much as the workout.

Because here’s the truth—
strength isn’t built by doing more…
it’s built by doing what your body actually needs.
And that changes with time.

If you’re feeling like you “can’t do what you used to,”
good. You’re not supposed to.
You’re evolving. Train like it.

In my 60s, I’ve learned this…

Fitness still works—but it works differently.

I lift, I move, I stay consistent. But I also respect what’s changed.

• I train fewer days, with more intention
• Recovery takes longer—and soreness hits different
• Sleep is non-negotiable
• I do weekly “self PT” just to stay feeling good
• HRT has helped—but it’s a constant balancing act
• And some things, like skin changes and libido, don’t fully return (at least for me)

This isn’t about doing less.
It’s about being smarter, more aware, and more in tune with your body.

And if you’re feeling that shift too…
you’re not alone.

We adapt. We adjust. We keep going.

I’m still strong.
Just in a different way now.
And maybe… a more powerful one.

This didn’t happen overnight.
And it didn’t start with perfect conditions.

It started with a decision.
At 60+, I’m not chasing a younger version of myself…
I’m building a stronger one.

Strength doesn’t have an expiration date. Progress doesn’t care how old you are. And excuses? They’ll keep you exactly where you are.

So if you’ve been waiting…
This is your moment.

Now IS the time. 💪🔥

Flashback to my 40s. 💪

Strong, muscular, and proud of the work I was putting in.

But here’s the part I love most…
I never stopped.

Now in my 60s and still training, still showing up, still believing that strength has no age limit.

Consistency over decades is the real flex.✌🏻🔥

Curious…
How old were you when you started your fitness journey?

42 ➡️ 61
No HRT vs. 10+ years on HRT.
Let’s talk honestly.

At 42, I actually had more muscle — and I was not on HRT.

At 61, after over a decade on HRT, I am strong, healthy, and balanced… but HRT did not build my muscle.
And that’s important.

Hormone Replacement Therapy is exactly what it says — replacement.

Not enhancement.
Not a performance drug.
Not a shortcut.

What it did do for me:
• Reduced night sweats
• Reduced hot flashes
• Helped with vaginal dryness
• Improved libido
• Stabilized mood
• Most importantly — improved my sleep

And better sleep meant better recovery. Better recovery meant I could train consistently.

But muscle?
That still came from progressive strength training.
Protein.
Recovery.
Consistency.
Years of showing up.

At 42, my body had naturally higher hormone levels and faster recovery.

At 61, I train smarter. I prioritize longevity. I respect recovery more than ever.

I don’t train to look 42.
I train to be strong at 61 — and beyond.

HRT is a personal medical decision. It’s not right for everyone. This is simply my experience.

I only share what I personally live, research, and would choose for myself.

Pro-aging.
No filters.
Sustainable strength.

If you’re navigating menopause, you’re not alone. 💛

For best results use at least 2x weekly combined with a healthy eating program.✌🏻

What I prioritize at 60 + to stay healthy and fit.✨

My fitness program has been fine tuned over the decades. I do what feels best for my body to achieve effective results without beating myself up physically and even mentally.

I love the basics and simplicity of my healthy lifestyle and enjoy the sustainability of it. Life is too short not to enjoy what you do.

My goals continue to be strength, mobility, ability, independence, and quality life for the rest of my life.

New Year — Same Me ✨

Still sparkling, still strong, still loving this journey at 61!

As a happy wife, midlife mom, and Nana x5, I’m all about keeping it REAL — no filters, no shortcuts.

My focus? Sustainable fitness that supports longevity and feeling my absolute best for LIFE.

This year, like every year, it’s not about chasing crazy trends or quick fixes. It’s about consistency, strength, and joy — aging with grace and grit.

So here’s to another year of being unapologetically ME, shining bright in my sparkly dress and owning every moment.

Because the best version of ourselves is the one we build over time — strong, vibrant, and full of life.

New Year, yes. But SAME ME — just better every day.

Happy New Year! 🎊

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!🎄✨✝️☃️❄️🎁
