Ohhh one of my favorite days of the month! I'm mailing out my subscription box! Packaging these has become one of my favorite things to do and a super fun part of my Norwex business. It's easy for those enrolled to stock up in essentials (monthly subscription) or get some awesome themed seasonal products (quarterly subscription) and a great way for me to serve and spread our mission to radically reduce chemicals in our homes. Woa. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars. This was intense and some parts graphic, but really powerful. Many of us know the name Brock Turner, but do you know Chanel Miller? She is the survivor and this is her story. When we hear stories in the media, we only ever get one side; this fills the gaps that weren't reported. I listened to this on because I wanted to hear the story from her ... in her voice. And I found every spare minute, I wanted to keep listening. Chanel's tragedy is OUR tragedy. Though she primarily shares the details of the events that lead up to her sexual assault and after...including the trial and how it impacted her daily life, it creates a sad picture of how our society allows these events to continue to happen. We are constantly sending mixed messages about how to respect, love, honor, and uplift members of our community. And yet.
How many women still do not come forth because they feel ashamed, embarrassed, or afraid?
After this book, I feel an even deeper desire to teach my children to be better....to be the ones to stop something if they see something wrong...to stand beside someone who is alone...to not just say it, but do it. And I need to make sure my example aligns with my words as well. We must become and do better.
There are too many women whose lives are forever changed by unwanted and unsolicited...filth.

When someone is sick and throwing up in your house, it's really really nice to have a big Norwex towel around (or 5). Truly... It may not sound pleasant but here is my little hack. If you are a special needs mama and things are especially messy with your nonverbal, high tone cerebral palsy kiddos, you KNOW those tossed cookies aren't ending up in a bowl. Between the discomfort they are experiencing from being sick and the high tone, it's really hard sometimes to control their body and the mess of being sick becomes messier. So we use our Norwex bath towels and I help her throw up right into the towel. I know, I know. But the truth is her life is pretty messy and this has made it so much LESS messy! The towel is super absorbent and grabs it all. She and her surroundings stay clean and I just rinse it out in the utility sink before we do a load of all the towels. Because with Sammy, we use a lot of towels. This method has truly helped me focus more on HER and less on the potential mess. Norwex makes it way easier. I'm just sayin'... This mama is prepared!
Also, I swear we have not been sick for about 2 years and all of a sudden we are getting slammed. I'm hoping this prepares our immune systems for the school year. 🤞🏼Have you been sick lately, or staying healthy? 🌱🏠

Have you read it? I am now and uh, it's good. Like, speaking to my soul. Not every page is me but there are definitely glimpses of me woven throughout. This question stood out and I keep thinking about it...What do you want your legacy to be? So I'm asking...what's your legacy? Um. Ew. We haven't used our lunch boxes in quite some time ( ) so when I came across them in the cabinet I was cleaning out, I decided to clean these babies in a soak with our detergent. 🤢 That's all. 🤢 How often do you clean your lunchbox? It didn't even look dirty!!! 🌱🏠

Sample prep! Some of the advantages of my Norwex business is having an opportunity for my kids to work and earn money. When I was younger my dad owned a business. I remember as a kid working for my dad. It was a great way for me to earn money and to understand how to work as an employee. They may just be putting samples together, but they get excited to do it and to earn a little bit of money. I'm hoping to teach them a bit of work ethic as well as money management. Plus, it helps me out a ton! 💗 🌱🏠
