What we build is bigger than ourselves.
I was reminded of this during one of our regular morning calls—a young physician asking about a complex case, but also about their growth, fulfillment, and how they can continue to contribute meaningfully to the practice.
Whether it’s early morning phone calls with our younger physicians discussing cases, individual goals, and practice dynamics—or our Wednesday lunch learning sessions that bring together our interventional and non-interventional physicians, advanced practice providers, and medical assistants—we’re constantly investing in something larger than just ourselves.
This is what makes private practice special. Not just the freedom to innovate or the ability to put patients first, but the opportunity to shape a culture of mentorship, education, and excellence. A place where curiosity is encouraged, collaboration is foundational, and personal growth is just as important as clinical outcomes.
We don’t get it right every day. But every patient, every conversation, every challenge—each one is a learning opportunity that brings us closer to the kind of practice we’re building together.
