C’est en France 🇫🇷 , à la fin des années 1970 que Guy VOYER D.O., fondateur de la méthode E.L.D.O.A., élabore sa propre technique d’exercices thérapeutiques, basée sur les techniques de GDS, Kabat, Mezière, etc., afin d’aider à soulager les MAUX reliés à la colonne vertébrale

Guy VOYER D.O. met alors à l’épreuve le fruit de sa découverte et de ses expériences auprès d’une centaine de clients et observe une nette amélioration de l’ensemble de leurs symptômes. Des gens venus consulter pour un mal de cou ou de dos décrivent un amélioration notable de leur digestion, un sommeil plus profond et réparateur, une diminution des douleurs menstruelles, une diminution des ronflements, etc. 👌🏻


La méthode E.L.D.O.A. s’est développée selon le principe que le corps entier est interrelié. Dans sa globalité, le corps est un ensemble de systèmes interactifs et ses symptômes doivent en êtres abordés ainsi, quelle que soit l’approche thérapeutique. La méthode E.L.D.O.A. travaille avec une grande précision anatomique et s’intègre parfaitement à toute démarche thérapeutique.

A little history…
It was in France 🇫🇷 in the late 1970s that Guy VOYER DO, founder of the ELDOA method, developed his own technique of therapeutic exercises, based on the techniques of GDS, Kabat, Mezière, etc., to help to relieve the PAIN related to the spine.
Guy VOYER D.O. then tested the fruit of his discovery and his experiences with a hundreds of customers and observed a clear improvement in all of their symptoms. People who came to see him for a sore neck or back describe a noticeable improvement in their digestion, a deeper and more restful sleep, a decrease in menstrual pains, a decrease in snoring, etc.

E.L.D.O.A. Was developed on the principle that the whole body is interrelated. In its entirety, the body is a set of interactive systems and its symptoms must be addressed with the same idea, regardless of the therapeutic approach. E.L.D.O.A. works with great anatomical precision and integrates perfectly with any therapeutic approach.

DISCOVERING ELDOA:
The corrective technique was created by French Osteopath, Dr. Guy Voyer. ELDOA is a French acronym that translates to English meaning L.O. A.D.S. (Longintudinal Osteo-Articular Decoaptation Stretches).

It is a method of exercise that “creates space” and improves the function of specific joints while also strengthening the postural muscles that support the spine.

ELDOA exercises have been shown to significantly relieve back, neck and chronic joint pain, alleviate nerve and disc compression, promote flexibility, strong posture, athletic performance and metabolic/hormonal balance.

ELDOA will be taught in our Wellness Studio under the direction of Lexi Kusturiss.
