🌟 Celebrating National White Cane Day! 🌟

Wednesday, October 15th is National White Cane Day, a day to recognize the independence, resilience, and achievements of individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Two of our University center kiddos are legally blind, but that doesn’t stop them from having a great time!

Nilah is battling an Optic Glioma, which has impacted her vision causing her to go fully blind in her one eye and has little vision in her other. Nilah continues to shine in our Summer and Holiday programs and joins our center during her school breaks.

Kam, who became blind after a TBI at birth, brings endless energy and s***k wherever he goes!

We’re so proud of both of them and all they accomplish. 💪✨
