We’re excited to share that the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) program is now available for income-eligible households in New Mexico! 🎉 This new initiative offers federal point-of-sale rebates to help make energy-efficient home upgrades more affordable — and lower your energy bills! 💡💰

💸 What You Can Get:
🔹 Up to $14,000 in total rebates per household for qualifying ENERGY STAR® certified appliances, heat pumps, insulation, electric upgrades, and more.
🔹 Rebates apply right at the register — no waiting for reimbursements!

📋 Who’s Eligible:
✔️ New Mexico homeowners (and soon renters with permission) 📍
✔️ Income at or below 80% of your county’s Area Median Income (AMI) OR participation in certain state/federal benefit programs (like SNAP, Medicaid, LIHEAP, SSI, etc.).

Let’s come together as neighbors and make a difference this March.

“Taking Out the Trash” is a great opportunity to ORGANIZE NEIGHBORHOOD CLEAN-UP PARTIES to help seniors, veterans, and families in need tidy up their properties.

Grab a few friends, check in on neighbors who could use a hand, and bring bulk trash, yard waste, and old furniture to the designated drop-off locations.

Please note: No tires, shingles, construction materials, asbestos, liquids, or batteries. Large appliances will only be accepted March 28, 2026, at the Roswell Municipal Landfill.

Homeowners in Chaves counties with 2024 flood damage may apply for repair or rebuilding assistance.
