Hey everyone!

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Barnes and Noble’s Alpharetta Location to host a book drive fundraiser!

It is this Saturday, October 25th from 2 pm to 6 pm. ✨

Kids can participate in one or all of our activities, including StoryTime theater, crafts and arts & scavenger hunts! Join us for a good time! 🙌

Yesterday we celebrated Disability Awareness Day by honoring the courage, strength, and daily challenges of children living with disabilities and life-threatening illnesses. At Skye Precious Kids, this is not just one day a year but every day!

We support Georgia families facing difficult times by helping provide medical equipment, accessible transportation, educational resources, and other essential needs. We believe no parent should have to choose between caring for their child and meeting basic needs.

Today, we highlight every brave child and caregiver we serve and renew our commitment to creating safe, supported, and hope-filled homes!

Greetings Grove Members and Friends,

Through the generous support of DeKalb County District 3 Commission Leadership, The Greater Piney Grove Community Development, Inc. is pleased to offer
emergency financial assistance to eligible DeKalb County residents to help maintain housing stability.

Qualified applicants may receive a one-time payment of $1,000 to assist with rent, mortgage, or utility payments. To be considered, applicants must:
· Reside in DeKalb County
· Have a delinquent balance
· Provide billing statements, proof of household residency, and evidence of financial hardship

Starting Monday, June 9, 2025, Assistance is limited and available for approximately 35 households, so early application is encouraged.

On this , we encourage you to stop by our Healthy Athletes area during this year's State Summer Games! Athletes will have the amazing opportunity to go through five health screenings: Special Smiles, Healthy Hearing, Opening Eyes, Fit Feet, and our new discipline, Strong Minds!

The Healthy Athletes screenings will occur on Saturday, May 17th from 9:00am to 2:00pm at the Emory University Plaza & Student Center.

Any athlete participating will receive free screenings, referrals, and follow-ups, receive awesome giveaways, and enter a drawing to win a Fitbit! THANK YOU to all Healthy Athletes Clinical Directors and volunteers for all Healthy Athletes Disciplines!
